SUPERINTENDENT MESSAGE

Welcome to Wills Point Independent School District. I am excited to get the school year started. Wills Point is a great community and school district that offers a variety of choices for every student. Wills Point ISD is rich in tradition and is driven by innovation. I am truly blessed to be part of such a great school district that is surrounded by outstanding staff, students, parents, and community members. High expectations and success for all students is the foundation of this school district.

The district will focus on three goals this school year.
(1) The improvement of reading skills and comprehension for all students.
(2) Ensuring that every student shows progress in core academic areas throughout the school year.
(3) Increase in student attendance.

This will be accomplished through high-level instruction, an outstanding Career Technical Education program, and partnerships between the school district, parents, businesses, and the community.

Technology will be a major focus for the district this school year. It is the district’s vision to provide more devices for students and teachers. The use of these devices will be integrated into teacher lesson in order to increase student engagement.
I look forward to seeing many great things from our students and staff this year. A culture of togetherness and responsibility ensure an outstanding year for Wills Point ISD!!!
